ABOUT THE GUEST SPEAKER

Engr. Sotonye Georgewill is a seasoned oil and gas professional, engineering consultant and asset-management specialist with almost two decades of experience in the upstream petroleum industry.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO); a Diploma in Oil and Gas from Robert Gordon University, Scotland; and an MBA from the University of Nicosia, Cyprus.

He is affiliated with several respected local and international professional bodies, including:

▪️Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE)
▪️Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN)
▪️National Institute of Strategic Management (NISM)
▪️Society of Petroleum Engineers International (SPE)

Engr. Georgewill currently serves as Asset Planner/Asset Management Integration Support for Renaissance Africa Energy Company’s Western 2 Operations. His responsibilities cover nine production facilities and one crude-oil terminal across Bayelsa and Delta States.
