💀 PART 3 — THE TENANTS IN ROOM 13
KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!
Esther sat upright on her bed.
Her whole body shook.
It was exactly 1:13am.
The knocking on her door became louder.
Then a woman’s voice whispered softly—
😢 “Esther… please open… they left me here…”
Her blood ran cold.
How did whoever was outside know her name?
She remembered the landlord’s warning.
Never answer any voice from Room 13.
But curiosity defeated fear.
Slowly…
She walked toward the door.
Her hand trembled as she opened it.
CREEEAK—
😨 Nobody was there.
Only a wet trail of footprints…
Leading straight to Room 13.
Esther followed them.
Step by step.
Her breathing grew heavier.
When she reached the door—
💀 The old dusty padlock was gone.
Room 13 was open.
Slowly she pushed the door.
Inside was darkness.
Broken chair.
Old mattress.
Spider webs.
And then…
She saw something hanging on the wall.
A faded photograph.
Esther moved closer—
Her scream nearly tore the compound apart.
😳 The photo was of HER.
Standing inside Room 13.
Taken 10 years ago.
But Esther had never lived there before.
Who put Esther’s picture there?

😨 PART 2 — THE TENANTS IN ROOM 13
Esther stood frozen in the dark corridor.
The crying inside Room 13 suddenly stopped.
Silence.
Her heart pounded loudly.
Slowly… she moved closer to the door.
Then she noticed something strange—
💀 The padlock on Room 13 was old and covered with dust…
As if nobody had opened it for years.
But she clearly heard crying inside.
Suddenly—
TAP! TAP! TAP!
Someone knocked softly from inside the room.
Esther jumped back in fear.
Then a weak female voice whispered—
😢 “Please… help me…”
Her body trembled.
She wanted to run.
But before she could move—
The landlord appeared behind her.
“What are you doing here?” he shouted angrily.
Esther pointed at the door.
“There’s somebody inside!”
The old man’s face changed immediately.
Fear.
Real fear.
Then he grabbed Esther’s hand tightly and whispered—
😨 “If you value your life… never answer any voice from Room 13.”
That night, Esther couldn’t sleep.
Because around exactly 1:13am—
💀 Someone started knocking on HER door.
Should Esther open it?

😳 PART 1 — THE TENANTS IN ROOM 13

When Esther saw the apartment price, she thought it was a mistake.

“₦80,000 for a self-contained apartment in Lagos?”

It was too cheap.

The landlord smiled strangely and said—

“You’re lucky. The last tenant left suddenly.”

Esther didn’t care.

She was tired of sleeping in her friend’s shop.

The compound looked normal.

Quiet neighbors. Old building. Nothing unusual.

But one thing caught her attention—

💀 Room 13 was at the end of the corridor.

And every time she passed there…

The air suddenly became cold.

That night, around 1:13am—

She woke up to a strange sound.

Crying.

A woman was crying softly outside her door.

Esther checked the corridor.

Nobody.

But then—

😨 The crying came again…

This time from inside Room 13.

Meanwhile…

Room 13 was locked.
Watch out for part 2
What should Esther do?

💀 In my village, nobody fetches water from the river after 7pm.

But Emeka didn’t believe in village stories.

One night, he went there alone.

As he fetched water, he heard a woman singing behind him.

Softly.

Beautifully.

He turned—

😨 Nobody was there.

Then the singing started again…

This time from inside the river.

People say Emeka returned home that night.

But till today—

💀 He has never spoken again.

Would YOU go near that river?

Then spoke—
😨 “Tell them how your brother died.”
The man collapsed instantly.
People panicked.
The masquerade turned to another woman—
“And you… tell them whose child you are hiding.”
Screaming started everywhere.
One by one, it exposed terrible secrets nobody could have known.
Then it stopped in front of the village chief.
The entire square became silent.
The masquerade leaned close and whispered something into the chief’s ear.
The old man began shaking violently.

His wife became terrified.
One night, unable to bear it anymore, Emeka hit the wall with a hammer.
Immediately—
The knocking stopped.
Silence.
Then a weak voice whispered—
😨 “Why are you disturbing me?”
They froze.
The voice came again.
“I was here before you.”
The next morning, workers broke the wall open.
Inside, they found—
💀 A small wooden coffin hidden there for years.
But it was empty.

Every evening, the women of Umuofia fetched water before dark.
Because after sunset—
Nobody went near the river.
They said a woman in white appeared there at night.
Ada laughed at the stories.
“Old village tales,” she said.
One evening, she stayed behind alone to wash clothes.
As the sun disappeared, the river became strangely quiet.
Then she saw her—
A beautiful woman in white, sitting on the water.
Not beside it.
😳 On it.
The woman smiled softly.
“Come closer.”
Ada’s body moved on its own.
Step by step.
Closer.
Suddenly, an old fisherman passing nearby shouted—
“DON’T LOOK INTO HER EYES!”
Ada blinked.
And immediately realized—
💀 She was already standing inside deep water.
Something underneath was holding her legs.

One old woman smiled at him.
“You’re late. Sit and eat.”
The food smelled delicious.
So he ate.
Meat. Rice. Palm wine.
Everybody laughed and danced with him till dawn.
The next morning, villagers found Tobi unconscious near the river.
Dirty. Weak. Barely breathing.
When he woke up, he smiled and said—
“I’m still hungry.”
His mother quickly served him hot yam.
But Tobi screamed and pushed the food away.
😨 “This is not the food they gave me!”
From that day, he stopped eating normal food.
Weeks later—

“I’m hungry,” she whispered.
