🌿 We’re looking for someone special to join our Fowler House family.

At Fowler House, our school secretary is so much more than the person behind the desk. They are often the first smile a child sees in the morning, the reassuring voice on the other end of the phone and an important connection between our children, parents, teachers and school leadership.

We are looking for a warm, organised and capable School Secretary who genuinely enjoys being around children and understands that even the smallest interactions can help create a school where people feel welcome, supported and valued.

Someone who can juggle the wonderfully busy rhythm of school life with calmness and competence. Someone who notices what needs doing, communicates with kindness and professionalism and takes pride in helping things run beautifully behind the scenes.

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who believes, as we do, that relationships matter. 💙

Not every child is meant to learn in the same way; and no young person should have to lose their individuality in order to succeed at school.

Fowler House International High School offers a deeply personal and future-focused alternative to traditional secondary education. Through small year groups, individual academic guidance, internationally recognised learning pathways and meaningful mentorship, we are creating a high school where every learner can feel known, supported and inspired.

Our approach brings together academic excellence and emotional wellbeing, with opportunities for science practicals, creative arts, project-based learning, leadership, entrepreneurship and essential life skills.

There is something incredibly special about watching children make music together. 🎸✨

At first glance, they are learning chords, rhythm and melody.

But underneath all of that, something much bigger is happening.

They are learning to listen to one another.
To keep going when something is difficult.
To practise until their fingers finally find their way.
To have the courage to be heard.
And to discover the wonderful feeling of creating something beautiful together. 💛

These are the moments of childhood that matter to us.

Because education should never only be about what a child can remember for a test. It should also give them opportunities to discover what moves them, what lights something up inside them and what they are capable of creating.

And sometimes, on an ordinary school day, you walk past a guitar, piano or drumming lesson and hear a little bit of magic happening. 🎶

This is learning, too.
