🌱 Foundations for Farming Training – What a Beautiful Day! 🌱

Today we had the privilege of training a group of 20 people and what a joyful, practical day it was!

We covered:
• 🔥 Thermal compost
• 🪱 Vermicompost
• 🥬 The basics of vegetable gardening
• 🌽 How to start your own garden
• 📏 Correct veggie crop grouping, spacing and seasonal planting.

We also demonstrated how to make chicken manure “soup” let’s just say not everyone enjoyed the smell 😅 (but the plants definitely will!).

A big thank you to Mr. Christie, one of our Foundations for Farming trainers, for guiding the group with excellence and passion and for arranging lunch for our group 😋

Special appreciation to Green Planet Gardening, Gabi Serrer, for partnering with us on the vermicomposting session and sharing valuable knowledge about worms and soil health, such a blessing to have you part of the training.
