A distinguished and proud moment for the Namibian Aviation Training Academy.

The Academy had the honour of visiting State House, where our delegation led by Accountable Manager Mr Mathew Endjala !Haradoeb and Flight Operations Manager Tuli Shivute was accompanied by a group of Student Pilots and Student Aircraft Maintenance Engineering trainees. The visit provided a meaningful opportunity to engage with Her Excellency on matters of national importance within the aviation sector.

During the engagement, key discussions were held around the current challenges facing aviation training and development in Namibia. These included the shortage of qualified flight instructors, limited access to funding for aspiring aviation professionals, and the need to strengthen capacity in both pilot training and aircraft maintenance engineering. The delegation also highlighted the importance of continued support for training institutions in order to ensure the sustainability and growth of the aviation industry.

Furthermore, the visit emphasized the critical role that young professionals play in shaping the future of aviation in Namibia. Our students had the unique opportunity to witness leadership engagement at the highest level, reinforcing their commitment to excellence, discipline, and professionalism within their respective fields.

As an institution, NATA remains dedicated to producing highly skilled, competent, and industry-ready aviation professionals who will contribute meaningfully to the advancement of Namibia’s aviation sector and the broader economy.

Celebrating Women in Aviation ✈️

Our students from the Namibian Aviation Training Academy (NATA) had the privilege of attending the Women in Aviation Namibia Summit 2026 held on 6 March 2026 at Droombos Boutique Hotel.

The event brought together inspiring leaders, aviation professionals, and future aviators to celebrate the achievements of women in the aviation industry and encourage the next generation to pursue careers in the skies. Our students were honored to be part of such a powerful and motivating gathering, learning from remarkable speakers including Elijah Ngurare, Veikko Nekundi, and Michelle McLean.

At NATA, we remain committed to empowering young aviators and supporting diversity in aviation.
