Some words of encouragement for NUST students who participated in the B360 Career Starter Week.

Ms. Amanda Gesang Student Mobility Division Outgoing and Program Manager from Technical University of Munich (TUM) exchange, visited NUST in February 2026.

She visited the Sustainable Energies, Entrepreneurship and Development (SEED) Project at NUST which is a jointly implemented with her University in Germany.

The SEED project is based in Groot Aub. She was accompanied by Professor James Katende, Professor of Renewable Energy System, Mr Robby Tjiwemu – Project Coordinator and Ms Theodora Mweuta, Manager International Relations.

SEED Project, Living Laboratory has built and provided the solar electricity to the villagers and also a borehole.

In return, villagers are supposed to initiate an irrigation and also a chicken broiler projects.

In the pictures are Prof Katende engaging the community’s headman on the slow progress of the chicken broiler .
