Conservation Leadership is applied leadership and management skills practiced to bring about positive change in conservation!

Happy Earth Hour!

Earth hour is celebrated on the last Saturday of March and this year, 2023 it is celebrated on 25 March from 8:30pm.
The movement aims to raise awareness and inspire collective action against climate change and nature loss.

We can join in this movement simply by switching off our lights for that hour. Tell your friends, family and your neighbours. If millions of people take part in this siple act, it can have a huge impact.

International Forest Day is celebrated on 21 March annually.
Forests are one of the solutions to Global Warming and can absorb tons of CO2 every year!

What are Rehydration Sessions?

Rehydration Sessions is an open platform for individuals from all walks of life to gather and experience various techniques designed specifically to help participants rejuvenate their minds,We aim to engage our participants to several stimuli boosting their oxytocin levels this allows them a lasting feeling of calm and safety.

It's a safe space in which our participants are encouraged to let loose and explore various possibilities,using elements of song ,dance,storytelling ,and games just to mention a few.

We believe a happy mind equates to a happy life thus prioritizing mental health,and spreading kindness.

Why Rehydration sessions?

Textbook definition :The process of restoring lost water (dehydration) to the body tissues and fluids

To us this means restoring positive energy and influences by providing a safe space to play,share and learn from one another,Unfortunately we have been exposed to an immeasurable amount of trauma especially with the rise of Covid19 and the loss of loved ones making it difficult to navigate through our daily lives, Rehydration sessions aims to assist our participants by helping them navigate through this as we discover unique and creative ways to restore joy to their lives.

About the Facilitator:Zindri Swartz

Zindri Swartz is a multiple nominated and award winning theater director,Stage Manager,Creative Director and Playwright,best known for his productions Prime Colours, and Scorned his involvement in theater ranges from his studies at The University of Namibia 's Drama division to the National Theatre of Namibia stage where he learned various skill sets including some aspects of drama therapy which is the intentional use of drama and/or theater processes to achieve therapeutic goals.This approach can provide the context for participants to tell their stories, set goals and solve problems, express feelings, or achieve catharsis. Which will be the main tool used to facilitate the Rehydration Sessions.Rehydration sessions will also feature guests facilitators specialising in different fields to allow for an enhanced experience.
