The GED® is clamping down on under-age testing
The GED® Testing Service will shortly be introducing a new alert on all students profiles. This alert will explain the current GED® age rules, as well as the ramifications should any student break these age rules.
When setting up a GED.com profile, a student is required to register with the same name and date of birth as per their Identity Document. Should a student be caught testing underage or testing with information in their ged.com profile, such as date of birth or spelling of name, that does not match the information in their ID, their score/test will be revoked. Further, they will only be allowed to test once they reach the correct testing age.
It is vital that students check their ged.com profile details to ensure that they match their ID before booking a test. Should they notice any differences, they must urgently email [email protected] with their GED ID number, the changes required and a scanned copy of their ID before booking a test.
