Flossie and the Chameleons has been dormant for so long and I apologize to all the schools interested in booking our shows. Since we have moved to Windhoek I am trying to get a team together in order for us to launch our shows. I need two young people who have a passion for children with a teaching or drama background. Hello all. Thank you to all of you in Namibia visiting my page. I am still awaiting approval from the government to go ahead with the shows. In the interim I am still looking for two assistants with a love for children and the performing arts to join me. I will keep you all posted as to when we launch.

It seems that the Namibian government does not see a Puppeteer as an official job. Therefore my application for a work permit was denied. I now have to re-apply under my teaching qualifications. The person working on my permit says as a teacher it will make no difference as to how I choose to teach children. Therefore puppetshows will fall under teaching. This may yet again take several months. So we must all be patient.

Hello all. As I have stated before Flossie has relocated to Namibia. I am in the process of applying for a work permit. As soon as it is approved I will be looking for local Namibians to assist me with the shows. So be patient Windhoek. As soon as we are on the road again we will be hitting your schools with all the fun and joy that Flossie and the Chameleons has always offered.

Flossie and his friends have relocated to Namibia. The puppets are jumping up and down in their boxes with excitement at the prospect of making new friends. Please leave us a message should you want to book a show.

Flossie and the Chameleons would officially like to welcome Jaco van Heerden as part of our team. He has a diploma in musical theater ((TUT) and has traveled extensively locally and abroad performing in well known musicals.He has been well received by a number of schools during his training with us. He is a great asset to the shows and is a breath of fresh air. He is looking forward to meeting all the old and new friends. Now is the time to book for 2016.
