I know it might be difficult to consider trials and persecution as great joy, but when our faith gets tested in those trying times, it will stir up the power of endurance. Endurance leads to patience, maturity and wholeness. Not lacking anything. No matter what you’re facing today, stand strong. Ask (without doubting) for wisdom. When we doubt it leaves us restless and disengaged! Ask in faith!!
Blessed is the one who endures trials, because when he has stood the test of time he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him. James 1:12

It matters what you carry - in life. The emotions. The baggage. Or even your handbag.
Nothing as wild or sophisticated as the bag you choose to carry. I love the versatility of accessories - always able to compliment an outfit or bring comfort to the season you’re currently finding yourself in!
Moms. It’s okay if what you’re carrying currently is a mess - take it from someone who has extra diapers, headbands, mismatched socks and probably a banana peel in her bag!
Some styling tips:
- you can never go wrong with black or tan
- add a colourful or printed bag when you’re wearing neutral colours
- mind where you place your bag on your body, pear shape ladies should carry their bags around the shoulder so that their bag rests in their mid section. Carrying it lower will draw focus to the hips
- bless you if you’re able to have a small clutch bag on a daily basis. (Says the mom who carries the world - my season is coming)
- clean out clutter every weekend (ja welma! )
- buy a new bag! You deserve it

Study Psalm 23 with me (part 1)
I just love this psalm of David. A vivid remembrance of God’s protection, provision and love when he was a young shepherd boy! This psalm was personal to David. He says the Lord is “MY” shepherd! That’s a revelation and a relationship! God cares for us the same way a shepherd cares for his sheep. David knew this well. Sharing some notes as I study this passage.
