Gimmies, let's hoop! 🐬🏀

Our Gimmies boys took their basketball to the next level during a high-intensity training camp in Windhoek!

Training alongside national team players and some of Khomas’ top talent, our boys showed that they can compete at this level — with determination, grit and plenty of Gimmie spirit!

A special session with Coach Anna, manager of Namibia’s U16 & U18 Men’s National Teams and captain of the Women’s National Team, gave the boys a real taste of elite-level basketball.

Our Grade 8s swapped their classroom for the great outdoors! 🌿

From learning essential survival strategies and testing their skills on the obstacle course, to fishing, an exciting night march and exploring the fascinating Moon Valley — every activity brought a new challenge and a new lesson.

A camp filled with adventure, teamwork, courage, problem-solving and plenty of memories to take home. 💙🐬

We are incredibly proud of Gimmie Alyssa Hopking and her horse, Callaho Condetto, who will be representing Namibia as part of NAMEF Team A at the Africa Shield Competition 2026 in Otjiwarongo from 21–23 August! 🇳🇦🏆

They will take on riders from South Africa in what promises to be an exhilarating competition.
