💧🌍 Day of the African Child 2026 🌍💧

Riverside Private School joins children across Africa in commemorating the Day of the African Child under the theme:

“Ensuring Universal Access to Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene for Every Child in Africa.”

Access to clean water, safe sanitation, and proper hygiene is not a privilege—it is a fundamental right for every child. These essentials help prevent disease, protect dignity, and create an environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

As a school community, we encourage our learners to value water, practise good hygiene habits, and become responsible citizens who care for both people and the environment.

Together, let us work towards a future where every child in Africa has access to the clean water and sanitation they deserve.

Happy Day of the African Child!
