Skills Development platform for corporates and entrepreneurs

15/09/2025

At a recent webinar, guest speaker Ndahambelela Ndoroma-Ipinge CA(NAM) GM of Finance and Administration at Namfisa, shared key insights for professional development.

Her advice focused on a proactive approach to career growth, whether in a corporate setting or in business. She emphasised the value of researching the career paths of admired professionals on platforms like LinkedIn to understand the specific qualifications and certifications that contributed to their success.

Furthermore, she stressed the importance of honest self-assessment. This involves conducting a personal gap analysis to identify the skills needed to achieve one's goals and then taking the necessary steps to acquire them.

She also recommended performing a personal SWOT analysis (evaluating Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) to identify areas for improvement and leverage advantages for maximum impact.
