This is to mobilize the importance of education to the parents within otjisokotjongava community.
We have realized that every season is important to the nomadic (indigenous) people which result in them taking the children along in every movement can be cultivating or harvesting time, funerals, moving animals to a new village in search of green pastures , this made the kindergarten to have always increased an decreased of number of children attending lessons.. Sometimes it results in suspending of classes for a week's

Mobilization of the importance of education, will mainly focus on parents and children, the program will be walking house to house,

To support this program we would like to invite all graduates from otjiurunga community, elders from the community, an youth from both ovahimba and ovazemba people who can today witness an testify the importance of education.

I believe in education for all, I remember a lot of touching stories of people who went to school without no one to care for them, alot became street kids, thieves an some are at the point in life they never wish to be just because of lack of education, apart that, I went to school sitting in one class room with a 21 year old himba boy starting their grade 4 an yet their parents has to take them out of school to go look after livestock for couple of years after few years he was back again to restart school.. Something told me they so need education an I feel like something deny them education, an that is it high time to mobilize important of education to the parents and to bring schools near their homestead, otjisokotjongava kindergarten is one of the most important school in the community which gave opportunities for ovahimba and ovazemba people classified as (marginalized people in Namibia) for them to start school at early stage , holding hands with the fellow Namibians an the world's at large to continue mobilizing important of education to our people will bring better results in the future... Most of our people will learn being creative an opportunity for identify their skills..
