Our kiddies sport day, it was indeed a blissful moment for the Pre-Primary learners..

🏆✨ The first and second place winners were each blessed with beautiful gifts 🎁 in recognition of their outstanding performances in the following languages: Afrikaans Second Language, English Second Language, and Khoekhoegowab Second Language. 💬📚

🐝 The Spelling Bee is an annual highlight on our school calendar, and this year’s competition featured enthusiastic participants from the Senior Primary Phase, Grades 4–7. 👏🎓 Their hard work and confidence truly made the event a memorable success! 🌟👏

The Rev. P.A. Schmidt Primary School has resumed its much-loved Spelling Bee competition for both Khoekhoegowab, English and Afrikaans.This event has become a highlight on the school calendar, encouraging learners to develop a love for language, accuracy, and confident public speaking.

Excitement fills the classrooms as learners prepare eagerly to take part. Teachers are guiding them through word lists, pronunciation exercises, and friendly practice rounds. The competition is not only about spelling it is also about celebrating linguistic diversity and promoting pride in both the mother tongue and English as a global language.

Through this initiative, the school aims to build learners’ confidence, strengthen their vocabulary, and nurture a culture of excellence in language learning. The enthusiasm among the learners shows their determination to perform well and make their school proud.

Our soccer team proudly took part in the Build It Soccer Tournament this past weekend and secured 2nd place. This achievement shows the dedication and passion our boys have for the sport. To help them grow even further, we kindly appeal to the community for support. Many of our talented players are in need of proper soccer boots. With your generosity, we can give them the chance to compete not only in local leagues but also across the region and beyond.

Mid-term break runs from 8–12 September 2025. Let us remind our children to stay safe, spend their time wisely, and keep off the streets. Above all, let us not forget to lift them up in prayer.

Our boys gave it their all full of energy, teamwork, and determination and they brought home 3 trophies! 🏆🏆🏆

But here’s the thing: many of them played barefoot. ⚽👣 Can you imagine? Despite that, they made it to the finals and showed true talent and spirit. 💪

We want to give them the gear they deserve. 👟 Every helps buy soccer boots for these young champions.
