Upcoming Events | National Science Fair, January 30th to February 2nd, 2023 at Safari Court Hotel and Conference Centre
The Ministry of Education Arts and Culture (MoEAC), the National Commission on Research, Science & Technology (NCRST) and Namibian Young Scientists are proud to bring you the . The event is proudly sponsored by Debmarine Namibia and is scheduled to take place at the Safari Court Hotel and Conference Centre from Monday January 30th to Thursday February 2nd, 2023.
The National Science Fair is an annual event where the best Science Fair projects for all Namibian Regions compete against each other.
The aim of the National Science Fair is to:
🔹 To stimulate interest in young people in science, math, and engineering;
🔹 To provide educational experience through participation in scientific research;
🔹 To give public recognition to learners for the work that they have done;
🔹 To encourage inquisitive students to explore their environment in a systematic, logical manner; and
🔹 To stimulate students interest in science and technology while simultaneously promoting the development of the life skills of communication, decision making, evaluation of alternative solutions, and critical thinking.
The event is open to invited guests. The public can attend the event on the following dates:
🔹 Wednesday February 1st, 2023 from 16:00 to 17:00 and,
🔹 Thursday February 2nd, 2023 from 08:00 to 11:00 am
