Students Excel in FISO Olympiads

This year, our school proudly stood on the international stage through participation in FISO, an online platform that hosts subject Olympiads (English, Science, Digital Technology, Art and IQ). FISO is renowned for encouraging learners to reason, analyze and think critically, moving beyond rote memorization to nurture true problem-solving skills.

Over 83 of our students embraced this challenge, and their dedication produced remarkable results:
● 28 Bronze Medals
● 18 Silver Medals
● 14 Gold Medals
● 1 Diamond Medal
● 22 Certificates of Merit

Their achievements shine as proof of their talent, perseverance and courage to compete internationally. Representing our school with pride, they demonstrated that excellence comes not only from knowledge but from the ability to think deeply and creatively.

These results reflect our school’s unwavering commitment to fostering critical thinking, creativity and global competitiveness. We celebrate our students’ success and look forward to building on this momentum, preparing them to meet the challenges of tomorrow with confidence and brilliance.

We proudly participated in Infomatrix Asia 2026 in the Short Movie category, where we achieved Third Place (Bronze Medal). This accomplishment reflects our hard work, creativity, and dedication as a team.

Our goal was not only to compete in the Infomatrix Olympiad, but also to explore a new country and experience its culture. During our journey, we had the opportunity to visit the capital city, Astana, as well as the beautiful city of Almaty. These visits allowed us to learn more about local traditions, architecture, and way of life.

Overall, this experience was both educational and memorable, combining international competition with cultural exploration.

Mozspeller is just around the corner, bringing excitement and energy to our school community. Next week, the spelling contest will take place on Wednesday for the primary section, giving younger learners the chance to showcase their growing vocabulary skills and confidence.

The event that celebrates the wizards of letters promises to be a joyful event filled with teamwork, perseverance, and the thrill of learning in a fun, competitive atmosphere.

On Thursday, the spotlight shifts to the secondary section, where older students will demonstrate their mastery of language and spelling under greater challenge.

This stage of Mozspeller highlights not only academic excellence but also determination and focus, as participants push themselves to new heights. Both days will celebrate the power of words, the joy of learning and the spirit of friendly competition.

🎒❌ Anything But a Bag Day!

Today our students accepted a fun challenge: Come to school with their materials in anything except their usual school bag. The result? So much creativity, laughter, and unforgettable moments! Because learning is even better when imagination is involved.

The Mystery Reader 📚✨

At our school, the magic of reading comes alive through our Mystery Reader program. Parents and guardians are invited to visit classrooms unexpectedly and share stories, reading books, personal experiences, or life lessons with our students.

The mystery readers impersonate the atmosphere of the program they arrive in costumes, masks, or creative outfits, making the experience even more exciting and engaging for the children. The goal is simple: to inspire a love for reading, spark imagination, and strengthen the connection between families, the school and our learners.

✨ Who will be the next Mystery Reader? 📖

Birlik International School proudly participated in the Teeneagle English Competition during the 2026 academic year, continuing our journey of excellence in language and global learning.

Our students achieved outstanding results, winning 3 silver medals, 9 bronze medals and 2 honourable mentions. These accomplishments reflect their dedication, creativity and commitment to mastering English at an international level.

We had the opportunity to welcome, on a rotating basis, some secondary school parents to deliver a lesson on the theme Respect.

Through this initiative, parents were able to interact directly with their children’s classmates in the classroom, sharing experiences and reflections on the theme we work on weekly or monthly with our students.

It was a very satisfying and enriching moment for everyone involved. Parents felt truly included in the teaching and educational process, further strengthening the partnership between family and school.
