Woodrose International Group of Schools Hosted the Cambridge Learnmore Maputo Session2026

A dynamic gathering of school owners, leaders, and teachers united for a day of connection and professional dialogue.

The session was led by Rob Laing and Christina Anne Naidoo from Cambridge, featuring online experts in advanced English language development with Simon Bradbury (Cambridge English) and Tafadzwa Moyo, Cambridge Schools Development Manager, who discussed the new Cambridge Support Hub. Sam Valloy (Instituto de Línguas) also contributed.

Participants engaged in focused breakouts to learn active learning strategies, guided by Toby Dewar.

The day celebrated shared expertise, meaningful exchange, and a collective commitment to shaping learners who are ready for the world.

Liberdade Branch’s Secondary Department wrapped up the first term in the most vibrant way—with a joyful, color-filled festival that left everyone smiling from ear to ear. Students headed home with shirts splashed in bright colours and hearts full of unforgettable memories that will be cherished for years to come.

A special shoutout to our incredible Student Council members for bringing this experience to life—their creativity and dedication made this celebration truly unforgettable.

Matola Rio Branch wrapped up the term with fun activities that enhance practical techniques and boost morale.

The Primary Department students enjoyed baking and making sandwiches with their teachers. The Secondary Department students conducted sessions on the importance of Values Formation and Environmental Sensitivity.
