Here at Tariro, our metalwork students are working hard at welding new legs to old tables as we have been asked to have only 1 student per table by the education department. Previous to this, each one of our tables had room for 2 students at them. We love seeing our students utilizing the skills they are learning.

Preparation for the new academic year: Sweeping classrooms, cutting grass, preparing firewood and planning lessons. Just a few things that are happening at Tariro this week as the summer holidays are nearly over. The teachers have returned and are busy planning for when the students will return and begin their second and final year. 🌟

Meet Meireles! He is a mechanics student who committed his life to Jesus this year! He had heard about Jesus and attended a few Bible programs before studying with us at Tariro. But it wasn’t until March this year, as he was sitting in a bus, that he made the decision to follow Jesus, and unable to deny the fact that Jesus is real. Meireles has found our morning devotional times to be very significant to him, and is learning a lot from what is being shared each week.

Alberto is the Agriculture teacher here at Tariro and he is certainly passionate about what he teaches! He first was a student and graduated in 2019. Alberto is married, has two kids and a very good sense of humor!

We have great news!!!
Tariro has been invited to represent the province at an exhibition in the capital city! The metalwork students and teachers have been working hard to prepare products to take to Maputo. The items will be shipped down first and our team will follow a couple of days later to take part in the exhibition.
