🎁 Unwrap Your Potential 🎁
What an energising and laughter-filled meeting we had!
Our members, Kim Low and Caroline Tay, truly unwrapped their potential as they unleashed their sense of humour through their Humorous Speeches — leaving us entertained, inspired, and wanting more. What a treat!

Our experienced evaluators Shel Ling and Clement Ong, absolutely hit it out of the park, delivering insightful, invaluable, and impactful feedback that continues to elevate every speaker’s journey.

The Table Topics session, led by Norlin Ghazali, kept everyone on their toes — challenging speakers to think fast and offer practical solutions on the spot. A true test of wit and spontaneity!

A big thank you to our fellow Toastmasters from Shine TMC, Phoenix TMC, and MC Jo TMC, as well as our dedicated members, for stepping up and taking on roles to make the meeting a roaring success. Your support and energy made all the difference!

✨ Ready to unwrap your potential with us?
Join us at our next meeting:

To all the lovely mothers, aunties and grandmother.. here's a special poem dedicated to you.

A Mom is Love

A mom is love that never ends,
A heart that always understands.
Through every joy, through every tear,
A mom’s love keeps us near.

Today we celebrate you,
For all the things you do.
Thank you, Mom, for being
you! ❤️

You are the first teacher,
the first friend,
and the forever hero.
Thank you for everything! ❤️

In conjunction with Mother's Day this weekend on May 10th, we celebrate the lessons that shaped us at the Friendship Toastmasters Club and School of Hard Knocks Toastmasters joint this evening.

It was an evening of heartfelt stories, laughter, and meaningful reflections - inspired by the lessons we learned from our mothers.

Thank you to all the role players, speakers, and evaluators for making the meeting a memorable one for all of us. Let's do it again soon.

We were wowed by the inspiring and insightful keynote at the “Confidence Gap” Open House on March 10, organised by Toastmasters District 102, Division C.

A big shout-out to our dynamic Maxwell-Certified Speaker, DTM Srinivas K.M, for delivering a powerful keynote on bridging the gap between our capabilities and how effectively we communicate them.

For many professionals and entrepreneurs, success is not only about competence—it is also about the confidence to express our value.
Key Takeaways from the Session:

1️⃣ Common barriers to success often stem from:
Fear of failure
Fear of rejection
Fear of emotional discomfort

2️⃣ Imposter Syndrome is real.
Many high achievers experience it as they grow. Recognising it is the first step towards overcoming it.

3️⃣ Every individual brings unique strengths and value.
Believe in your abilities and have the courage to step forward and be counted.

4️⃣ Communicating your strengths with confidence matters.

Whether it is earning a promotion, securing opportunities, influencing stakeholders, or closing important deals—confidence in communication is a critical leadership skill.

A heartfelt thank you to DTM Srinivas K.M for sharing his valuable insights. Appreciation also goes to our dedicated role players and testimonial speakers who contributed to making this event meaningful.
And of course, thank you to all our guests and participants who joined us and made the session engaging and impactful.
