Our Year 4 students recently embarked on an exciting residential trip to Penyabong, where they experienced 3 days of outdoor learning, adventure and teamwork.

From nature hikes and beach games to a pirate treasure hunt, night crabbing and coastal survival activities, students had the opportunity to explore beyond the classroom while developing confidence, resilience and problem-solving skills.

The trip also encouraged students to work together, build stronger friendships and gain a deeper appreciation for nature and the marine environment.

It was wonderful to see our Year 4 students embrace every challenge with enthusiasm, curiosity and teamwork throughout the journey.

Last week, our school community came together to support Mental Health Week, reminding us of the importance of caring for our mental wellbeing and supporting one another.

Through meaningful conversations and reflections, our students shared their thoughts on wellbeing, emotions and how they take care of themselves.

On 15 May, students and staff also wore green as a symbol of support, unity and awareness for positive mental health.

Letโ€™s continue to show kindness, listen with empathy and create a community where everyone feels seen and heard!

With Teacherโ€™s Day just around the corner, we asked our students a simple question: If you become a teacher, what subject would you teach and why?

Our students had some very interesting answers! ๐Ÿ˜†

Some were inspiring, some were unexpected and some might actually make great teachers one day!

Our Year 6 students recently returned from an unforgettable Residential Trip to Janda Baik filled with adventure, teamwork and meaningful outdoor learning experiences.

Throughout the 4 day trip, students took part in activities such as raft building, river trekking, rainforest hikes, GEMS Olympics and a visit to a sustainable farm. These experiences encouraged them to step out of their comfort zones, build resilience and develop greater independence.

Beyond the activities, the trip also gave students the opportunity to strengthen friendships and create lasting memories with their peers and teachers.

It was wonderful to see our students what our students experienced throughout the journey. Well done, Year 6!
