Education The present temporary Tawau UiTM campus started in December 1996 at a premises at Fajar town centre.
The above new permanent campus for Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) costing RM34 million in Balung Town is expected to be completed by 2012
The construction work on the Federal-funded project begain in April, 2009. Permanent Campus
This Permanent campus is located at Mile 26, Jalan Apas, Balung, Tawau.
