🌷 A Day When Children Become “Little Mummies”

In the Kindystar Montessori Classroom,
learning is not limited to what is written in books,
but comes from real-life experiences.

Today’s theme is — Mother.

What does a mother do every day?
👕 Wash clothes
👕 Hang clothes to dry
👕 Fold and organise clothes

At the age of 2, children are in a sensitive period for imitation.

They carefully observe the actions of adults around them and naturally imitate what they see.

So in our classroom, we bring real life into learning.

Children learn to be like their mothers and experience hanging clothes to dry —
from picking up the clothes, finding the right place, to hanging them one by one.

What seems like a simple activity
is actually an important Montessori Practical Life exercise.
Through this activity, children develop:

在 ~ Kindystar · Tangkak 东甲~的 Montessori 环境中，
孩子透过 Sun Game（Walk Around the Sun) 的活动，
具体理解 时间的循环、宇宙秩序与生命成长的概念。

孩子沿着轨道缓缓行走，

每完成一圈，象征地球绕太阳运行一年。

children explore the concept of time, growth, and the order of the universe through the Sun Game (Walk Around the Sun).

At the center of the classroom stands the Sun,
surrounded by the twelve months of the year.

As the child walks around the Sun,
they experience the movement of the Earth orbiting the Sun 🌍

Each circle represents one year of Earth's journey around the Sun.

Through this concrete experience,
children begin to understand the cycle of twelve months,
as well as their own growth and passage of time.
