We thought,
this was a day for children to celebrate their moms.

But on that day,
many mothers were moved to tears—
because the letter came from their husbands.

As she stood in front of the letter wall,
slowly opening the envelope with her name on it,

she realized—
the words that were never said out loud
had all been written down.

In that moment,
it wasn’t just an activity.
It was understanding.
