A truly magnificent celebration filled with joy, unity, and togetherness as our entire Kinggate school community — students, parents, and teachers — came together for a memorable potluck gathering 💚

The day was beautifully vibrant, featuring an abundance of delicious Raya delicacies, exciting Malay traditional games, and a lively Best Dress Award that brought smiles, laughter, and wonderful school spirit.

Following the festive break, Kinggate is now fully back in action — re-energised, united, and more inspired than ever to continue our journey of excellence in learning, growth, and character building as one strong school family 🌟

As we countdown towards the conclusion of 2025, we take upon this moment to reflect upon what a year of change and advancement it has been for Kingsgate. It has been a year of adventure as we reshape the identity of the school and look upon the future with even greater hope.

Term 1 concludes! 😃🙌🏻🎉

We have just completed the end of the first term of the 2025:26
Academic Year and there is no better way to do it than the usual hosting of our termly Parent Teacher Conference! It was a
jovial and productive morning as we welcomed our parents into the school to meet up with our teachers
and check up on how their children have done for the term. Great seeing everyone. Have a good break!

End of Term Escapades - Kingsgate style!

Our KGIS students celebrated the coming conclusion of our term last week through various study trips organised by our teachers for their respective key stage levels. There was plenty of action as the students had an opportunity to visit the Good times Pottery, Game On Centre, TGV Cinema, PetroSains and the Escape Theme Park for some outdoor fun and social bonding activities. Great way to conclude an eventful term. Well done everyone!

🌟 Phonics Fun! 🌟

Our KGIS early years students continued with their phonics journey this week by exploring with their sound ‘g’ – ggggg’ 🐐🎶

🔤 for this, they practiced blending sounds with g;
✏️ Did some air writing to understand the formation of g;
🔎 Looked at and revised letter g objects, listening carefully for the g-g-g sound in each one and;
🌿 Marking the letter 'g' with grass

They have also started learning some Red Words: I, my, of, to, the, said — tricky words that normally people learn by sight! 👀✨

A great session filled with giggly, growly g-g-g sounds! 💚📚✨ Always nice to see our young ones progressing well! Well done!

Halloween KGIS style!

Our KGIS community had a gala time today celebrating one of the most look forward to events for our students – Halloween! Staff and students alike were dressed in their favourite costumes in celebration of a popular worldwide event that is associated with the Celtic harvest festivals. Nice one kids! You look great!

Our KGIS community were radiantly dressed today as they welcomed the Diwali celebrations in advance for the coming long weekend. There were an array of performances, sharing of traditional Diwali festival snacks and the creation of our customary annual Diwali Kolam which we hope will welcome prosperity and good fortune to the Kingsgate international school community.
