Have you ever heard of "Beauty Privilege"? Have you ever thought that this kind of "privilege" is unfair? *If yes, then this Webinar is really made for you!*
The topics that will be discussed revolve around this matter and it serves as an eye opener to the society that there's a lot more to an individual other than his/her beauty. Budaya body-shaming yang ada di mana2. Kadang2 datang dari masyarakat sekeliling, kadang2 dari member2, kadang2 dari keluarga sendiri, adik-beradik sendiri.
Badan besar, kulit gelap, muka bulat, kulit jerawat, rambut megi, terlalu pendek, terlalu tinggi, hidung penyek, mata sepet, bibir tebal, kening tebal, takda kening - habis semua dijadikan joke.
Tapi kesannya sangat parah. Membesar dengan low-self-esteem. Sayangnya tak ramai yang berjaya fight & stay-positive. 😢

In an article published by Allure, a women's beauty magazine, Janet Mock wrote that,

" Pretty privilege can give way to more popularity, higher grades, more positive work reviews, and career advancement... This is also conditional and is not often extended to women who are black, brown, disabled, older, or fat "

It turns out that the secret to success in this world is being, young, physically attractive and light-skinned. 😕
