Manimegalai is the Guru of Megalai Bharathalaya Dance Academy and has been teaching Bharathanatyam for the past 42 years. The Guru initially learned various dances under the tutelage of Guru Shrimathi Indra Sugunan. She later proceeded to India to further her knowledge in this divine art under the guidance of the world-renowned, Guru Padmashree Adayaar K. Lakshmanan and Guru Shri Ravi Sharma.
