WEPS at itSMF Malaysia Relaunch Dinner 2025!

On 30th October 2025, the World Education Placement Services (WEPS) team had the privilege of attending the itSMF Malaysia Relaunch Dinner at Armada Hotel, Petaling Jaya.
The event brought together IT service management professionals, industry leaders, and partners to celebrate a renewed mission of elevating ITSM standards nationwide. It was an inspiring evening filled with networking, knowledge sharing, and exciting updates on Malaysia’s ITSM roadmap.

Grateful to be part of the PIKOM GBS ASEAN Summit 2025!

It was a meaningful experience attending the event at M World Hotel, PJ last week, where leaders across the region came together to shape the future of global business services.

A key highlight was the launch of the GBS 2022–2027 Mid-Term Report by YB Gobind Singh Deo, Minister of Digital Malaysia — a milestone in advancing Malaysia’s position as ASEAN’s GBS powerhouse. His message was clear and inspiring: digital innovation must remain human at its core.

We were especially excited to witness the collaboration between GBS Malaysia and Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, aligning education with real-world industry skills in AI, analytics, and service design. This is exactly the kind of bridge we need between academia and business — and WEPS is proud to support this vision.

AI Training for Instructors: WEPS x HCLTech

WEPS recently hosted a 3-day AI training program in collaboration with trainers from HCLTech (India) and local trainer at CIAST, Shah Alam held across two batches (9–11 Sept & 23–25 Sept). Participants included representatives from the Ministry of Human Resources, CIAST, JPK, ADTEC JPM, Maktab Teknik PDRM, Japan Malaysia Technical Institute, UniKL, GMI, and other institutions.

Throughout the sessions, participants explored more than 12 AI tools through hands-on activities and engaging presentations. Many showcased their favorite tools—such as Gamma, Perplexity and DeepSeek—and demonstrated real outputs from their prompts.

💬 Feedback was positive, with participants highlighting the tools' usefulness in enhancing teaching, admin work and research. We look forward to more interactive sessions focused on improving writing and communication skills.
