No. 200501005899 (682946-T) Taylor's University Student Development was established for 3 main functions under the following sub-units (see below) :-

1.Life Skills Development which delivers the Life Skills modules, workshops, etc.

2.Student Engagement and Leadership Development (SEAL) which covers leadership development, community services initiatives and cultural engagement activities through

the coaching of Taylor’s University Student Council, Taylor’s University International Student Council, and 41 (and counting) Clubs and Societies ranging from both local and international clubs.

3.Sports and Recreation Centre which delivers sports and recreational activities and initiatives in campus including university sports representation and the coaching of 24 (and counting) sports and recreational based clubs and societies. Student Development aims to provide a more streamlined and intentional, experiential and immersive platforms for students to develop their interpersonal and intrapersonal skills holistically, while creating a quality student experience.

🌍✨ Taylor’s Lakeside Model United Nations Conference 2026 returns for its 9th iteration under the theme “The Virtue of Voice, The Siege of Silence”, bringing together young minds for three days of dialogue, debate and diplomacy at Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus. 🎙️🏛️

We’re honoured to have invited His Excellency Mr Nikolas Myint, Resident Coordinator and Representative of the United Nations Secretary General in Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei Darussalam 🇺🇳, as our distinguished guest for the Opening Ceremony of TLMUN 2026.

Led by Koh Zhen Xuan, President of TLMUN 2026, alongside Co-Secretary-Generals Vaishnevee Sureshwaran and Khiruba Manoharan, the conference brings together 184 delegates, 19 chairs and 6 observers, supported by 12 Secretariat members and 22 volunteers who make it all possible behind the scenes. 🔥🤝

The conference begins today and runs through Sunday having three days to speak up, exchange ideas and make every voice count✨.

Team Taylor’s | SUKIPT 2026 Flag Handing Ceremony

Team Taylor’s officially marked the start of SUKIPT 2026 with our Flag Handing Ceremony at Taylor’s University, officiated by our Chief Operating Officer, Mr Wong Pau Min, and Senior Director, Student Experience, Mr Janaronson Nagarajah ⚡️.

105 student athletes will represent Team Taylor’s across 13 sports, ready to take on the competition and give their best on every court, field and arena 🔥.

Months of training, preparation, discipline and sacrifice have led to this moment. Every session, every challenge and every extra push has built towards what comes next.

Experience a landmark orchestral collaboration as The Triple Alliance Philharmonic Orchestra brings together student musicians and alumni from Monash University Malaysia , Sunway U and Taylor's University for one unforgettable evening of music.

Featuring a combined musical ensemble from:

🎶 Monash Chamber Orchestra (MCO)
🎼 Sunway University Ensemble
🎻 Taylor's Symphony Orchestra

With artistic guidance by Triplet Orchestra as the appointed Artistic Council, audiences can look forward to a powerful programme featuring classical masterpieces, contemporary music, film scores, game music, choir performances, and Malaysian identity pieces — from “Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity” from The Planets, Op. 32, to the F1 Theme, Marvel Studios Fanfare, and many more.

Performed by a large combined orchestra and choir of 160 students and alumni, this concert celebrates collaboration, talent, and the spirit of the Triple Alliance.

Bring your family and friends, and come support our student musicians as they take the stage at Jeffrey Cheah Performing Arts Centre (JCPAC), Sunway Square Mall.

On 12 July 2026, our Taylor’s University Cheerleading Team competed at C3 2026 at Paradigm Mall, sending four strong teams to the competition:

💜 Python Purple
🥉 2nd Runner-Up – University COED Level 4

Podium Energy Unlocked! 🏸🏆✨

Team Taylor’s showed up and showed out at the ASICS University Badminton Championship 2026, held from 24th to 28th June at the DBKL Badminton Arena 🏸.

Our 14 athletes brought the heat, fought hard, and came home with some serious wins:

🥈 Silver – Women’s Double (Bakat Baru)
🥉 Bronze – Men’s Double (Bakat Baru)
🥉 Bronze – Men’s Double (Open)
🏅 3rd Runner-Up – Team Event

With junior national players from Malaysia and Thailand in the mix, the competition was no joke but our squad stepped up, gained valuable experience, and proved they’re built for the big stage.

Big W for the team, the growth, and their fighting spirit 🔥.
