Dr. Li is a senior lecturer from Deakin University. She is an expert in chemistry, materials, engineering, nanotechnology and biotechnology. Dr Li was also awarded Australian Research Council (ARC) Future Fellow in 2020.

What can you do with a PhD in the industry?
We've invited Ir. Dr. Mohd Zulhilmi Paiz, our very own Monash lecturer, who will be sharing about his experience as a PhD holder in the industry.
Ir. Dr. Mohd Zulhilmi Paiz is a member of Engineers Australia, a Chartered Professional Engineer, APEC Engineer, and International Professional Engineer (IntPE). He is currently a senior lecturer in Monash University Malaysia.

SITE VISITS & HANDS ON LAB EXPERIEMNT ARE BACK!! The Water Engineering event that we are organizing will provide an insight into the field of hydrology and water engineering. ππππ« π ππ’π―π’π₯ ππ§π π’π§πππ«π’π§π student are encouraged to join as this is a good opportunity for you to explore which civil engineering specialization route you are inclined towards. We will spend the morning session at Sunway South Quay Lake doing a site tour and field water sampling. Then in the afternoon, we will spend at the Monash Civil Engineering Laboratory conducting water quality testing on the water samples we collected. Dr. Andreas Aditya Hermawan of Monash University Malaysia, who specialises in water treatment and engineering, will be supervising the event.

Looking for something to do during the semester break, or searching for internship opportunities at the end of the year?
Why not kill two birds with one stone by joining our first ever inter-campus online competition, EAnnovate 2022! Itβs happening from 8th β 22nd July. In collaboration with the Malaysian Smart Factory 4.0 @ SHRDC, EAnnovate seeks to prepare participants for the industry by exposing them to real industry scenarios. The Malaysian Smart Factory 4.0 is also offering up to 20 internship vacancies at the end of 2022.
Participants can expect to gain experience integrating systems through IoT. You will be guided and challenged to develop your own IR4.0 solutions using advanced developer tools such as node-red. Showcase your innovation and problem-solving abilities! Being resourceful and quick to adapt is key in this competition.
Join individually or up to teams of 3. Your goal: compete against undergraduates from Monash and other universities to become the Champion. π
