🌯 Junior Year 8 Food Technology CCA Term 3 I Week 3 ✨

Our Junior Year 8 Food Technology CCA students took on the challenge of making delicious burritos this week! 🌯 Although the recipe looked simple at first, the preparation process required teamwork, patience, organisation, and good time management in the kitchen.

The session was certainly lively, with plenty of excitement, questions, and conversations happening all at once! Through the experience, students learned an important lesson about culinary practice — staying focused, communicating effectively, and managing time efficiently were essential skills, especially when preparing food for hungry customers. ⏱️👨‍🍳

After taking a moment to pause, reset, and refocus, the students got back on track and successfully completed the lesson. Sometimes, stepping back and restarting proved to be the best way to ensure meaningful learning took place. 💡

Beyond cooking, the session encouraged collaboration, discipline, resilience, and problem-solving — valuable skills both inside and outside the kitchen. 👏✨

🐶🐱 𝐒𝐏𝐂𝐀 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞 🐾❤️

On 6 May 2026, 30 student volunteers from UCSI International School Subang Jaya took part in the SPCA Volunteer Programme, where they gained meaningful hands-on experience in animal care and welfare.

As part of the programme, students learned about kennel and cattery management, interacted and socialised with cats and dogs, and participated in dog walking activities. They were also introduced to important topics such as SPCA protocols, animal health, and the Animal Welfare Act in Malaysia. 🐕🐈

Beyond learning practical skills, the experience nurtured empathy, responsibility, and compassion towards animals while encouraging students to contribute positively to the community. We are proud of our students for dedicating their time and energy to making a difference. 🌟

👘✨ Sustainable Fashion & Lifestyle CCA | Term 3, Week 3

Our students continued exploring the deconstruction design concept technique inspired by the traditional kimono, thoughtfully reimagining fashion through creativity and sustainability. 🌿🧵

Step by step, their ideas came to life as they refined their techniques, developed their designs, and gained confidence throughout the creative process.

Progress steadily unfolded, and we looked forward to sharing the final outcomes soon. Stay tuned! 💙✨

Charter & Installation Ceremony - Interact Club of UCSI International School Subang Jaya ✨

It was a proud and meaningful occasion as we celebrated the official Charter & Installation Ceremony of the Interact Club at UCSI International School Subang Jaya. Though intimate in scale, the event marked the beginning of an inspiring journey of leadership, service, and community impact. 🌍🤝

Our dedicated board members played an important role in ensuring the establishment of a strong and impactful club, with service projects aligned to the values and standards of Rotary International.

We were honoured to welcome District Governor Elect Rajj Melambaran, who presented the official charter certificate issued by Rotary International, headquartered in Chicago 🇺🇸

We are incredibly proud of our students for stepping forward with a shared passion to serve the community and make a positive difference beyond the classroom. This is only the beginning — many more meaningful service projects are yet to come! ✨
