🌴🍚 Little Chefs in Action! – Making Nasi Lemak 🍚🌴

Our 6-year-old children had an exciting hands-on cooking activity as they learned how to make Malaysia's favourite dish – Nasi Lemak! 🇲🇾💚

The children started by grating a mature coconut and adding water to extract fresh coconut milk. They then used the coconut milk to cook fragrant coconut rice, discovering how natural ingredients are transformed into delicious food.

To complete the meal, the children practised their fine motor skills by carefully slicing fresh cucumbers. Finally, they learned how to pack their own Nasi Lemak neatly, developing independence and responsibility while preparing their meal.

This meaningful activity allowed the children to explore local culture, strengthen their practical life skills, and build confidence through hands-on learning. Well done, little chefs! 👏✨

🌿 Little Garden Explorers! 🌿
Last Friday, our little ones had a wonderful time harvesting Indian borage (Mexican mint) from our school garden. 🌱
Through this hands-on activity, the children learned to appreciate nature, explore different herbs, and discover where healthy ingredients come from. It was a fun and meaningful outdoor learning experience! 💚🍃

Today, our little learners had a fun and engaging session getting to know a variety of local fruits. Through hands-on exploration, they learned to recognize different fruits, their names, colours, shapes, and textures while developing their observation and language skills.

Today, our little explorers had a wonderful day at Happy Bee Farm, Genting Highlands! 🌼🐝

The children learned about the fascinating world of bees, discovered how honey is made, and understood the important role bees play in nature. It was a fun-filled day of learning, exploring, and creating beautiful memories together.

Every field trip is an opportunity for children to learn beyond the classroom, grow through hands-on experiences, and enjoy the wonders of the world around them. Thank you to all the parents for your support and to our teachers for making this trip a memorable one. ❤️
