MBTMY Vibathon 2026: AI Defined Vehicle is here! An innovation challenge inviting students to reimagine the future of AI-driven vehicles through creative, practical, and impactful ideas.

This year’s challenge focuses on building an AI-driven system where the vehicle or its connected ecosystem acts as an intelligent agent, learning from data, adapting to situations, and proactively making real-time decisions.

‼️ Important note:
Registration is open to all interested teams, but not every registered team will proceed to pitch. Teams will first submit their ideation for shortlisting, and only the Top 14 shortlisted teams will move forward to the Vibathon period and final pitching session.



No prototype, PoC, or full product is required during registration, only your team details and ideation for the shortlisting stage.



👥 Team requirement:
🔹 4 members per team
🔹 Open to Sunway University students, regardless of course or field of study
🔹 Each participant may only join one team and submit one ideation

📌 Registration: 15 May – 25 May 2026, 8:00AM
📌 Shortlisting of Top 14 teams: 25 May – 27 May 2026
📌 Vibathon period: 1 July – 6 July 2026
📌 Final pitching for shortlisted teams: 6 July 2026

🏆 Prizes:
Champion, Runner-Up, and 2nd Runner-Up teams will receive Mercedes-Benz merchandise, and all shortlisted participants will receive a digital certificate of participation.
