I had the pleasure of giving a presentation on ‘The Power of Words’ through my Toastmasters group TMIKL to the University of Technology Malaysia UTM ( Universiti Teknologi Malaysia).

Words alone are not powerful it is the combinations that we use them with to influence, persuade, convince and build trust with whoever we communicate with.

It was an amazing experience to meet with Malaysia’s next generation of students who are close to entering into the workforce.

These Students had incredibly insight, were very sharp witted, personable and had a willingness to explore creative solutions to communication skills.

It was impressive that after short feedback sessions that they were able to implement their skills quickly when delivering presentations.

These students see the value communication skills can provide to their careers and learnt how to use this to lead the future of their workforces.

Congratulations to all the students to participated, looking forward to what your future holds.
