ErgoLympic returns in 2026 — bigger, more international, and embedded inside one of Malaysia's flagship innovation summits. Every entry must connect to a single, urgent idea: design centred on the human being.
Following four successful editions in 2016, 2018, 2021 and 2023, the 2026 programme expands to the international stage with co-hosts, country ambassadors and a new dual purpose: a serious design competition and a showcase that connects designers, researchers and startups to industry partners and investors.
From a high-school sketch to a startup's working prototype, every entry travels the same five-stage journey — concept brief, payment & acceptance, quarter-final video, semi-final webinar, and the Grand Final live at WTCKL on 21 September 2026.

ANNOUNCEMENT: INTERNATIONAL ERGOLYMPIC COMPETITION 2026 – FINALISTS, SPECIAL AWARDS & GRAND FINALE
We are pleased to announce the selected finalists and Special Award recipients for the International ErgoLympic Competition 2026, following the evaluation by the judging panel.
We would like to congratulate all participating teams for their valuable contributions, creativity and efforts in developing innovative ergonomics solutions.

🏆 ERGOLYMPIC GRAND CHAMPION AWARD
We are pleased to announce that the Special Award recipients will not only receive recognition in their respective Special Award categories, but will also compete alongside the selected K2 and K3 finalists for the prestigious ErgoLympic Grand Champion Award at the Grand Finale.
The ErgoLympic Grand Champion Award will recognise the overall outstanding product of the International ErgoLympic Competition 2026, taking into consideration the overall quality, innovation, ergonomics contribution, impact and presentation of the competing products.
This means that the K2 finalists, K3 finalists and Special Award recipients will have the opportunity to compete for the highest overall recognition at the Grand Finale.
👥 FINALIST & SPECIAL AWARD REPRESENTATIVES
Each finalist or Special Award recipient may be represented by a maximum of four (4) persons at the Grand Finale.
All participants, including those whose products have not been selected as finalists or Special Award recipients, are warmly invited to attend the Grand Finale and celebrate the achievements and innovative solutions presented by all participating teams.

The Grand Finale of the International ErgoLympic Competition 2026 will take place at:
World Trade Centre (WTC) Kuala Lumpur, 23rd September 2026
Participants are advised to refer to the tentative programme provided by the organiser for the schedule and activities of the Grand Finale.
