The Moot Committee of Universiti Utara Malaysia had its humble beginnings way before any committee was establish dating as early as 2008. Throughout the years, we were guided by our one and only, Dr Ahmad Masum, Visiting Senior Lecturer in UUM School of Law. The UUM Law Students’ Society along with the UUM School of Law formally established Moot Committee of Universiti Utara Malaysia in 2013 led b

y Mr Sirwin Ooi. Since the establishment, we are now responsible to promote mooting, find new blood, train and coordinate mooters to compete in various moot competitions. We participated in:
1. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition
2. International Humanitarian Law Moot Court Competition (IHL)
3. The Asia Cup International Moot Court Competition
4. LAWASIA Moot Competition
5. KLRCA Novice Arbitration Mooting Competition (NAMCO)
