Great ideas begin with a vision. Championships are built when that vision is brought to life.

At Digital Technology Program (DigiTech) 2026, our students took on the LRT Mutiara Challenge: Architectural Integration for the Penang Transport Master Plan, translating creativity, digital design and sustainable thinking into a forward-looking architectural solution.

Competing alongside 1,000+ participants from 41 schools, Northern Lights Framework rose to the challenge and proudly secured the🥇 CHAMPIONSHIP AWARD.

This achievement celebrates more than a winning project. It represents the power of innovation, collaboration, technical expertise and purposeful design which qualities that empower our students to think beyond today and create for tomorrow.

Words met wisdom, and confidence met challenge at our Friendly English Debate Exchange with SMKA Syeikh Abdullah Fahim! 🎙️✨

Bringing together junior and senior secondary debaters, the event provided a platform for students to sharpen their critical thinking, public speaking, and teamwork skills while engaging in meaningful discussions.

A heartfelt thank you to all participating students and teachers for making this exchange a memorable and enriching experience. We look forward to many more opportunities to learn, collaborate, and grow together.

The English Debate Competition 2026 was successfully held on 12th and 19th May 2026 at NLPS, bringing together talented debaters from Form 1 to Form 5 in a showcase of confidence, critical thinking, and eloquence.

We were honoured to have Coach Michael, Head of School, Madam Lee Mei Ling, Head of the Language Department from SMK Simpang Empat, and Ms Faith Yeo Jia Yee, an English Language Instructor from USM, as our distinguished judges for the event.

A heartfelt thank you to our judges, teachers, and participants for making this internal competition a meaningful and inspiring experience for all. 🎙️✨

From the pool to the court, our students showed incredible determination, teamwork, and house spirit during the Inter-House Swimming & Badminton Competitions held from 4th–8th May! 🏊🏸

Every race, rally, cheer, and victory reflected the passion, sportsmanship, and unity shared by our primary and secondary students.

5 NLPS students proudly participated in Program Kepimpinan Generasi Madani (PKGM) Kohort 5 (2026), held at Pusat Latihan Kenegaraan Balik Pulau from 27–30 April 2026.

Throughout the programme, students engaged in community service, team building activities, personality development workshops, presentations, and recreational challenges while exploring the cultural practices of different ethnicities. The experience encouraged leadership growth, resilience, teamwork, and confidence beyond their comfort zones.

A meaningful highlight of the programme was the inspiring sharing session by youth leader, En. Mohd Nur Azri Kamarudin.
