Taekwondo Upgrading Session – Sibu Main Gym June 2026

This afternoon 2:30 PM a Taekwondo upgrading session was successfully conducted in Sibu, Sarawak.

The examination was conducted by Senior Master Pang Ming Siing, （Kukkiwon Poom & Dan 2nd Class Taekwondo Judge/Examiner）.

Congratulations to all students who successfully completed the grading. Your dedication, discipline, and spirit truly reflect the values of Taekwondo. Keep training hard and continue improving! 💪💪

Special thanks to Coach Master Wong Leh Kiong、Master Jacqueline Hii、Kong Phang Kiong、Alan Lee for guiding and preparing the students for this examination.

真正的國際升段制度應建立在公平、公正、公開的基礎上，而非受個人、團體或地方體系影響，避免出現標準不一、審核鬆散或制度混亂的現象。唯有嚴格遵循 KUKKIWON 的規範與要求，才能維護黑帶段位的價值與榮譽。

This is the true international standard for high Dan promotion, strictly regulated and administered by Kukkiwon, the World Taekwondo Headquarters. From eligibility requirements and technical evaluations to thesis submissions and on-site assessments, every stage follows a unified international standard to ensure the professionalism, credibility, and authority of each Dan rank awarded.

A genuine international promotion system must be founded on the principles of fairness, transparency, and consistency. It should not be influenced by individuals, organizations, or local systems that may apply varying standards or inconsistent evaluation procedures. By adhering to the regulations and requirements established by Kukkiwon, the value, integrity, and honor of Black Belt ranks can be preserved and respected worldwide.

🥋【2026 Kukkiwon IMC Malaysia｜Day 5 – Mission Accomplished】🥋

經過五天密集而充實的學習與訓練，2026 Kukkiwon International Master Course（IMC）終於來到了最後一天。

今天，我們 6 位教練迎來了課程中最重要的考核，包括 Poomsae（品勢）實技考試 以及 筆試（Written Examination）。

這不只是一次考試，更是對過去五天所學習知識、技術、教學理念與專業能力的一次全面檢驗。

從第一天到第五天，
我們接受來自 Kukkiwon World Taekwondo Academy（WTA）國際講師團隊的指導與培訓；

從競技（Kyorugi）、
品勢（Poomsae）、
理論（Theory）、
歷史（History）、
哲學（Philosophy），

到國際師資應具備的專業素養與教育責任，

每一堂課都讓我們獲益良多。

今天，我們順利完成所有課程與考核，也正式完成了這次 IMC 的重要任務。

更榮幸的是，6 位教練皆獲得由 Kukkiwon World Taekwondo Academy（WTA）頒發的課程結業證書（Certificate of Completion），為這段學習旅程畫下圓滿句點。

這張證書不只是對完成課程的肯定，

更代表著：

✅ 對終身學習的承諾
✅ 對正統跆拳道教育的責任

🥋【2026 Kukkiwon IMC Malaysia｜Day 4】🥋

Day 4 of the Kukkiwon International Master Course (IMC) featured an inspiring and highly valuable Special Class conducted by Prof. Grandmaster An Jae Yoon.

As the Vice President of the World Taekwondo Academy (WTA), Prof. GM An Jae Yoon has dedicated more than 20 years to Poomsae education and development, producing numerous outstanding athletes and champions throughout his distinguished career.

Today’s session went far beyond technical instruction. We explored the principles, philosophy, educational value, and teaching methodologies behind Taekwondo Poomsae, gaining a deeper appreciation for its role in developing future generations of practitioners.

What impressed us most was that Prof. GM An Jae Yoon did not simply teach movements; he shared decades of experience, wisdom, and insight into the true purpose of Poomsae within Taekwondo education.

His knowledge, leadership, and passion for Taekwondo were evident throughout the session. Every lesson carried valuable perspectives that can only come from a lifetime devoted to the art.

This was more than a Poomsae class.

It was a meaningful discussion about education, leadership, tradition, and the responsibility of passing Taekwondo on to future generations.

Today’s lesson reminded us that:

Poomsae is not merely a sequence of techniques;
it is the embodiment of Taekwondo’s spirit, discipline, culture, and philosophy.

Our sincere appreciation to Prof. GM An Jae Yoon for sharing his invaluable knowledge and providing such an inspiring learning experience.
