“有趣的颜色”
这次的主题是以颜色为主。
时间为3月份的每周六 一共四个星期
每个星期都将使用不同的绘本来带领孩子们进行活动
通过活动我们鼓励孩子们自主学习 其中也包括各种messy play以及手工等

颜色为什么重要？
因为颜色可以帮助幼儿发展许多方面的能力，包括：

1. 认知能力：颜色是一个基本的认知元素，幼儿可以通过学习颜色来发展自己的认知能力。学习颜色可以帮助幼儿区分和分类不同的事物，同时也可以提高幼儿的观察能力和记忆能力。

2. 语言能力：学习颜色可以帮助幼儿扩大词汇量，丰富语言表达能力。幼儿可以通过学习颜色来学习如何用简单的词语描述事物的颜色，这可以帮助他们更好地表达自己的想法和感受。

3. 创造力：颜色可以激发幼儿的创造力和想象力。幼儿可以通过将不同的颜色组合在一起来创建自己的艺术品和图画。这种创造力和想象力可以在幼儿日后的学习和生活中发挥作用。

Looking back
Last month, the toddlers have enjoyed the play time especially the playground and corner time. Running and jumping are their favorite actions. They also enjoyed making Chinese new year craft. This coming February, we will be embarking on our first theme, “Letter A”.

Looking ahead
We will focus on apples and ants for this month. Some of our activities include the followings:-
1.Sensory activities – apple tasting, washing apples, observing ants.
2.Cognitive activities – shapes matching, sorting, seriating apples of different sizes, patterning based on apples colors.
3.Fine motor activities – tearing and pasting, apple collage, bubble wrap rubbing, lacing, weaving and many more.
4.Pretend play – fruit stores, apple pie shop
5.Art and Craft – spoon ant, ant (egg tray)
6.Language activities – we will be reading 6 English books during the circle time. Children will also be singing various Apple and ant songs.
7.Music and movement activity – Ants marching, dancing with ribbons. (rhythmic movement)

回顾
过去一个月，孩童们享受了玩乐的时光，尤其于游乐场及角落学习去的时光。 他们最喜爱的动作是跑和跳，除外他们也享受制作华人农历新年的工艺品。 今年 2 月，我们将开始我们的第一个主题“字母 A”。

展望未来
本月我们将重点关注苹果及蚂蚁。 我们的一系列活动包含：
1.感官活动——品尝苹果、洗苹果、观察蚂蚁。
2.认知活动——形状匹配、分类、排列不同大小的苹果、基于苹果颜色的图案。
3.精细动作活动——撕贴、苹果拼贴、泡泡纸摩擦、花边、编织等等。
4.角色扮演——水果店、苹果派店
5.艺术与手工艺——勺子蚂蚁、蚂蚁（蛋盘）
6.语言活动——我们将在大组活动时光阅读6 本英文书籍。 孩童们也会唱各种苹果及蚂蚁歌曲。
7.音乐和律动活动——蚂蚁行进曲及用丝带跳舞。 （有节奏的律动）
