Celebrating Academic Excellence: SBM Dean's List Certificate Presentation Ceremony

On Thursday, 14 May 2026, the School of Business Management (SBM) held the Dean's List Certificate Presentation Ceremony at Hibiscus Hall 2 to formally recognise and celebrate the exceptional academic accomplishments of our top-performing students. The ceremony honoured 226 distinguished high achievers across two scheduled sessions, recognising 76 BBA and 43 BAC recipients in the first session, followed by 60 BTM and 47 BBM recipients in the second.

An achievement of this magnitude reflects a shared commitment to excellence. We extend our sincere appreciation to the Dean, Deputy Dean, Heads of Programme (HOPs), dedicated lecturers, and the SBM administration team. Much of our students' academic success is a direct result of their unwavering leadership, guidance, and encouragement, and this ceremony was successfully realized through their collective efforts and cooperation.

Congratulations to all recipients on your well-deserved success. SBM remains immensely proud of your hard work and academic dedication.

We successfully wrapped up “Understanding Mutual Funds: An Investment Education Talk” in collaboration with Manulife Investment Management Berhad. The session provided students with a solid foundation in financial literacy and personal finance, progressing from portfolio basics to real-world insights into mutual fund investments. It offered a valuable opportunity to bridge classroom theory with industry practice, reinforcing key concepts from the MBC3553 Financial Market and Institution subject.

We were honoured to have Mr. Brian Yu Chiu Kiat, Dr. Joshua Ling Chuan Yuan, and Madam Tiong Ing Hee from Manulife Investment Management Berhad share their expertise, further enriching students’ understanding of mutual funds and strengthening their grasp of financial market concepts.
