Our N2 little learners are taking their first exciting steps into reading with Fitzroy Readers. Through phonics-based learning, our children are developing their sound recognition, building confidence, and learning how to blend sounds together to read simple words.

𝗗𝗼𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝗻, 𝗱𝗼𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀 🧠

Our daycare children had a blast today with an exciting, multi-step indoor challenge. Working in pairs, the children put their memory, teamwork, and gross motor skills to the test.

Here is how they tackled the course:
Step 1: Remember and perform the 1st set of actions instructed by the teacher.
Step 2: Crawl under the table like pros.
Step 3: Perform the 2nd set of actions from memory.
Step 4: Crawl under the table once more.
Step 5: Complete the final set of actions to finish strong.

Not only did they strengthen their memory and listening skills, but they also learned how to collaborate and encourage their partners every step of the way.

Last week, our little learners went on an exciting animal adventure! 🐾 They revisited the animal names they had learned and had fun sorting them into different groups — from gentle and familiar animals 🐶🐱 to fierce animals 🐊🐍 and fascinating wild animals 🦒🦓.

Through this hands-on learning experience, the children strengthened their vocabulary, classification skills, and understanding of the animal world. 🌿✨

Learning is always more fun when we can ROAR, STOMP and WIGGLE our way through it! 🦁🐾💛

Our N1 little chefs had a wonderful time discovering different kitchen utensils used by chefs. After exploring the tools, the children had so much fun making their very own delicious jelly, practising simple kitchen skills while building confidence and independence.

The sweetest part? They got to bring their homemade jelly home to share with their families! 🏠❤️

Our N2 children had a 𝓯𝓻𝓾𝓲𝓽-𝓽𝓪𝓼𝓽𝓲𝓬 time at their Fruit Party! 🥳 Each child brought a fruit of their choice, and together we explored its colours, textures, seeds, and unique characteristics. 🌱✨

After learning about the fruits, everyone enjoyed sharing delicious bite-sized fruit pieces, followed by a refreshing cup of freshly blended fruit juice! 🍓🥤😋

Our N1 daycare children had a wonderful time exploring the world of sensory play with beans recently.

Through scooping, pouring, and feeling the different textures, the children engaged in a fun, hands-on learning experience that strengthened their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and concentration. Sensory play also encourages curiosity, independence, and early problem-solving as little ones explore and discover at their own pace.
