Desert Adventure
During this school holiday period, our children embarked on a fascinating journey into the world of deserts! They had the opportunity to touch and feel real desert sand, tasted bread served in desert camps and learned how camels, called "ships of the desert", adapt to survive in harsh desert conditions.
Our Art class children had fun creating cactus crafts with clay while learning how cacti can thrive in the desert.

Farm Theme-All about sheep
Last week, our pupils explored the wonderful world of sheep. They had a hands-on experience touching and feeling real wool and discovered how it is used to make clothing.
They brought woollen items, cuddled sheep soft toys and proudly shared them during Show & Tell.
We also sang fun farm songs and enjoyed both fiction and non-fiction books about sheep and life on the farm.

Wholesome lunches prepared by Chef Yeong and snacks prepared in school. Spaghetti is cooked with homemade tomato sauce - without colouring and preservatives.
They are ' I want more' meals because the children kept requesting for more servings which we happily oblige.

Our Farm Theme continued with a fun hands-on activity about cows.
The children were thrilled to 'milk a cow' and see how milk comes from the udder of a cow. They also learned that cows give fresh milk to drink, leather for shoes and bags, and listen to stories and books about life on a farm, helping them to connect their play activity with real-life learning.

Our Hari Raya celebration in school came alive with the laughter, joy and resplendent colours of our children dressed in baju kurung, kebaya and baju Melayu.
The children played traditional games such as congkak, gasing, tarik upih (sarung race), coconut bowling and danced to the lively rhythm of joget music.
They then savoured a delectable spread of traditional Raya delights-satay, ketupat, nasi lemak, nasi ulam, roti jala, kurma, keropok lekur, dodol and kuih such as bahulu, onde-onde, kuih lapis, kuih serimuka and kuih koci.
The Nursery class children were delighted to receive duit Raya from Tiara's mum.
It was truly a meaningful cultural experience that encouraged our children to appreciate the rich traditions and customs of our multicultural heritage.
