Last week, our children aged 3–6 years participated in a hands-on baking activity, preparing yummy pineapple cookies for our CNY celebration 🍍🧧
Through this activity, they developed independence, confidence, and fine motor skills, all while having fun 🥰 . We’ll be sending some cookies home this week for families to enjoy together 🧧💛 *cheers*
January was filled with smiles and learning during our All About Me unit 💕
Children learned to express themselves in English, Bahasa, and Mandarin, explored their body parts and senses through fun Science group projects, and shared their ideas through creative Arts activities 🎨
Their portfolios were sent home, filled with proud moments and happy learning! 📘✨
Our 5-year-olds had a blast on the playground, singing, moving, jumping, and dancing their hearts out! So much fun while building gross motor skills through music and movement. Learning never sounded (or looked!) so good 💃🕺🎵
As part of our commitment to providing high-quality early education, our teachers participated in in-house KP2026 training over the weekend.
KP2026 (Kurikulum Prasekolah 2026) is a holistic early childhood curriculum designed to nurture well-rounded learners. It places strong emphasis on children’s emotional well-being, social development, and readiness for learning, recognising that these foundations are essential for lifelong success.
The KP2026 curriculum encompasses key learning areas including Language and Literacy, Moral and Citizenship Education, Social and Emotional Development, Physical Development, Creativity and Aesthetics, and Early Thinking Skills. Learning is delivered through engaging, hands-on experiences that support holistic development, encouraging children to explore, communicate, and develop positive values. At this stage, building a strong emotional foundation, confidence, and curiosity is far more important than early academic drills. We prioritise nurturing a healthy mindset and emotional stability to support our children’s long-term success as they prepare for KP2027.
In KP2027, children aged 6 and 7 in Primary 1 and Primary 2 will focus on developing foundational literacy and numeracy skills, problem-solving abilities, and independent learning habits, while continuing to strengthen their confidence, curiosity, and social-emotional skills. This ensures a smooth, joyful transition from early learning to formal schooling.
