Gather and consolidate all the former students of SMK Bukit Gading and"Darjah Menengah Kuang". Class transition begins to be established in 1973.
Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Bukit Gading also known as SMKBG was established in 1965 with the name "Darjah Menengah Kuang". In the early years this school has 74 students in level 1 & 2 with the teaching staff of 5 people. On that times SMKBG operated within SRK Kuang building until 1976, and in 1977, SMKBG has obtained its own building, located at KM 26, Sungai Pelong and changed its name to Seko
lah Menengah Kuang. This school has two blocks of two-storey building (Block A and Block B). In the same year, third-grade classes have been created and for the first time the SRP examination was held. In 1979, young scientists block (Block C), was constructed, and its name once again changed to Sekolah Menengah Bukit Gading. In the year 1984, the school office was renovated, and Cultural Center (Hall) was also built with teachers' meeting room. The first school song, was created in 1984, thanks to Mr. Hamid and lyric was created by a student of SMKBG, Noraini Ali. In 1986 two two-storey blocks (Block D and Block E) was established to cater for the students. Then in 1995, two flash blocks (Block F and Block G) was established. In 1998, a three-storey building and a vault was built. The school administration in collaboration with PIBG has successfully built a mosque valued at RM 60,000 in 1987. This mosque was later upgraded to the end of 1999 to cater for the students and teachers who have achieved a total of 2500 persons. And so on Connect continues to thrive, driving the development of the curriculum and extra-curricular.
