Wishing all Buddhist and those who celebrate a meaningful Wesak Day.
In healthcare, we stand at the intersection of suffering and hopeโoften in the quiet, unseen moments. Wesak reminds us: compassion in action, clarity in decision-making, and discipline in doing what is right, even when itโs difficult.
Every controlled airway, every bleeding stopped, every patient comforted or paperwork clerking โthese are not just clinical tasks. They are acts of service.
Today is a reminder: To treat with skill. To act with purpose. To lead with compassion.
Because sometimes, the difference between life and death is not just knowledgeโ it is presence, intention, and the willingness to step forward.
Selamat Hari Wesak.

Gayu Guru, Gerai Nyamai.
As we mark Hari Gawai, we celebrate more than just the harvestโit is a time of gratitude, unity, and respect for tradition.
From the longhouses of Sarawak to communities across the nation, this day reminds us of the value of hard work, resilience, and the strength of community. These are the same principles we carry into our work, whether in healthcare, training, or service to others.
May this Gawai bring you and your loved ones abundance, good health, and peace.
Selamat Hari Gawai.

In trauma care, capability is built long before the patient arrives.
Throughout 2025, we had the privilege of contributing to the Trauma Life Support Malaysia โ Basic (TLSM-Basic) course alongside the Emergency and Trauma Department of Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah. The work continues into 2026โbecause building competent responders is never a one-off effort.
On 26 May 2026, we were also on the ground with Diploma in Medical and Health Sciences students from Management and Science University, focusing on clinical teaching that translates knowledge into action.
In the field, itโs not theory that saves lives.
Itโs preparation, repetition, and ex*****on when it matters most.

Today is a reminder that sacrifice is not just an actโitโs a commitment.
A commitment to faith, to service, and to something greater than ourselves.
In healthcare, we see sacrifice in a different form every dayโtime given, comfort set aside, stepping forward when others step back. That same spirit is what Hari Raya Haji stands for.
As many carry out ibadah korban, rememberโsafety is part of responsibility. Handle tools with care, stay aware of your surroundings, and never rush the process.
If something goes wrong, bleeding control becomes the difference between life and death. Direct pressure. Control the bleed. Act early.
May this day strengthen our resolve to serve with purpose, lead with integrity, and care for those placed in our path.
Selamat Hari Raya Aidiladha. Stay safe, stay grounded, and look out for one another.

We marked Stop The Bleed Month the way it should be markedโhands-on, practical, and focused on saving lives before help arrives.
At the Polis Diraja Malaysia ( Royal Malaysia Police ) Headquarters, Bukit Aman, we had the privilege of delivering a Stop The Bleed lecture together with our frontline law enforcement officers. In trauma, seconds matter. Bleeding doesnโt wait for an ambulance. The person next to you is the first responder that counts.
A special note of appreciation to Dr Nurul Liana , Emergency Physician from Hospital Kuala Lumpur KKM , for taking the time to share her expertise and reinforce the importance of early hemorrhage control. Clear teaching. Real-world focus. No unnecessary complexityโjust what works when it matters most.
The goal is simple: take these skills beyond the lecture hall. Let it live in every unit, every station, every team. So that when the moment comes, someone in that โblue homeโ knows exactly what to doโand does it without hesitation.
Because survival starts before the hospital. And it starts with you.

Weโve just completed an AHA Heartsaver First Aid, CPR & AED courseโand more importantly, weโve equipped a new group of first aiders who are now ready to act when it matters most.
Cardiac arrest doesnโt give warnings. Trauma doesnโt wait. In those first critical minutes, itโs not about titlesโitโs about whoโs willing and prepared to step forward.
Today, they learned how to recognize, respond, and take control of that moment:
โข High-quality CPR
โข Early AED use
โข Immediate first aid for life-threatening situations
Simple skills. Decisive actions. Real impact.
Because when the time comes, doing something is always better than standing by.

Another mission in the books.
We just wrapped up first aid standby coverage for .southern Walkathon 2026. A meaningful event where participants walked to raise funds for NGOs, carrying the theme: โWe Walk and We Serve The City.โ
Hundreds on the move, energy high, and thankfullyโno major incidents.
These are the quiet wins.
No sirens. No chaos. Just preparation meeting opportunityโand holding the line.
Behind every smooth event is a team ready for things to go wrongโฆ and making sure they donโt.
Proud of the crew.
Ready for the next one.

Today we celebrate the real MVPs of the hospitalโthe ones who somehow manage everything, everywhere, all at once.
Nurses are:
- Part clinician
- Part problem-solver
- Part counselor
- And sometimesโฆ part magician
They can answer โBila doktor datang?, kenapa banyak sangat cucuk darah? Kenapa lama sangat? Bila boleh balik? โ for the 20th time with a straight face,
handle 5 patients calling at once,
and still remember who needed pain meds, who is NBM, and who just needs someone to listen.
Since the days of Florence Nightingale, the heart of nursing hasnโt changedโjust the pace has gotten faster.
Behind every smooth shift (and even the chaotic ones), thereโs a nurse holding it all together.
So today, we say:
Thank you for the patience.
Thank you for the skill.
And thank you for showing upโagain and againโno matter how tough the shift gets.
Tag a nurse who deserves a good meal and a long nap after duty ๐
Happy International Nurses Day!

We just crossed a milestoneโand weโre smiling about it.
Last 2 days, we completed our very first American Heart Association BLS + ACLS Provider Course.
Small class, big energy. That meant more hands-on time, more real discussions, and plenty of chances to get comfortable being uncomfortable (in a good way).
From solid BLS fundamentals to stepping up into ACLS leadership, we worked through the moments that matterโclear communication, teamwork, and making decisions when the pressure is on.
To everyone who joinedโthank you for the commitment, the focus, and the good spirit throughout. You made this first run something special.
This is just the beginning. One course, one team, one step stronger for our community.
More to come...๐
