The Faculty of Business Management & Professional Studies (FBMP) is committed to pursuing research that meets the needs of local industry and MSU's research efforts. Thus, from 20th until 22nd December 2021, bachelor students of the Faculty of Business Management and Professional Studies will be organizing the FBMP Research Colloquium 2021. This Research Colloqium will be collaborating with FIACOS 11.0 (Finance, Investment, and Accounting Colloquium) and BMERC 4.0 (Business Management and Entrepreneurship Research Colloquium).
This program is expected to have a participation from 450 bachelor students; students who are currently taking various courses within the faculty; students who are currently taking research projects and research methods; as well as students who are majoring in Accounting, Finance, Investment, Business, Marketing, Organizational Behaviour, Law, Logistic, Management, Entrepreneurship, and Islamic finance subjects from FBMP.
This program intends to help students to embrace the experience of presenting their research outputs in academic events, give students the benefit of broad comments and critique by panels, also to showcase student research so it can be more effectively communicated to the public.
This colloquium would be a highly meaningful experience to participants because it provides information that promotes critical thinking, application skills, and level of participation among students. This is part of the university’s initiative to help students practise and develop their soft skills.
