Today, we proudly celebrate the successful completion of our 6-Week Certified Professional Cat Groomer (Class C) programme.

Throughout these six weeks (1 week holiday), Sharon demonstrated dedication, perseverance, and a genuine passion for learning. She successfully passed all practical and written examinations, completed and passed all 15 take-home module assessments and successfully fulfilled all course requirements

The journey was not always easy. There were days filled with confidence and achievement, and there were challenging moments, especially when handling some very spicy cats! Every difficult cat became an opportunity to learn patience, improve handling skills, and build confidence.

Your determination to keep moving forward, even on the toughest days, is what made this achievement so meaningful.

Congratulations to both Ms. Amirah and Ms. Auni on successfully completing our 2-Day Cat Clipping & Styling Class at Purrfection Catz Grooming Academy ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘.

Ms. Amirah travelled all the way from a veterinary clinic in Kedah, while Ms. Auni joined us from Selangor. Their dedication and commitment to improving their grooming skills are truly inspiring.

Throughout the two-day intensive training, they learned the fundamentals of Basic Grooming for both Longhair and Shorthair cats, followed by practical hands-on sessions covering the Lion Cut, Teddy Bear Cut, and Dino Cut. They were also trained in the correct clipping techniques, proper handling and restraining methods, grooming workflow, finishing techniques, and the importance of achieving a safe, neat, and well-balanced groom.

Both students showed great passion, enthusiasm, and a genuine eagerness to learn. They were not afraid to ask questions, practised diligently, and continuously improved their skills throughout the class. With consistent practice and dedication, we believe they have a bright future in the cat grooming industry.

We are proud to announce that all three students have successfully passed both the Theory and Practical Examinations. Your dedication, hard work, and passion throughout the four-day intensive training have truly paid off.

On the 4th day of the class, the students were introduced to creative styling techniques, where they learnt how to perform the Teddy Bear Cut and the Dino Cut. It was wonderful to see the enthusiasm, passion, and genuine interest they showed during the styling session. Their eagerness to learn and willingness to challenge themselves reflected their growing confidence and creativity as future professional cat groomers.

As with every professional training programme, there is always room for continuous improvement. Moving forward, they are encouraged to focus on strengthening the time management, grooming speed, and overall working momentum throughout each grooming session. Further practice in cat handling and restraining techniques, as well as refining the bathing and rinsing process, will help them build greater confidence, improve efficiency, and consistently deliver high-quality grooming results.

Last week, on 7th July 2026, Purrfection Catz Grooming Academy (PCGA) was honoured to be invited by CWAL, UniKL to participate in the CWAL Women Leadership & Partnership Engagement: NGO & Women Association Showcase Initiative.

The programme brought together six NGOs and women associations to showcase impactful initiatives, strengthen networking, and explore strategic collaboration opportunities. It was an inspiring platform to exchange ideas and discover new possibilities for empowering communities through education and entrepreneurship.

Today, we were delighted to welcome the UniKL MIDI to PCGA for a follow-up discussion. The meeting focused on potential collaborations, including:

โ€ข UniKL Certificate Programmes for cat grooming training.
โ€ข Start-up and Mobilepreneur programmes for aspiring groomers.
โ€ข Development of customised training programmes in collaboration with PCGA.

This marks another meaningful step towards creating more structured learning pathways and recognised qualifications for future cat groomers in Malaysia.

We hope that this collaboration will be fruitful and pave the way for many impactful initiatives that will benefit aspiring groomers, entrepreneurs, and the pet care industry.
