Throughout STEM Week, our students embraced a variety of hands on lunchtime activities that challenged them to think, build, test, and explore. To finish off the week, our STEM Day Showcase gave Junior School learners the chance to explore STEM through the eyes of our Middle & Senior School students and all the amazing learning they've been doing.

Safe to say there was plenty of curiosity, creativity, and STEM excitement to go around! 🚀🔬

From coding and engineering to multimedia production and culinary arts 🎓✨

Our Year 9 and 10 students recently visited the University of Wollongong Malaysia campus, where they experienced a taste of university life through a series of engaging, hands-on workshops.

Whether designing with Python, experimenting with green screen technology, creating Malaysian teatime treats, or experiencing aviation simulation, students had the opportunity to explore different interests, skills, and future career pathways in an interactive learning environment.

Brains, bold opinions, and a little friendly competition 🧠🔥

Our Brain Brawl debate showcase brought teachers and students head-to-head in a series of thought-provoking debates, with our Middle & Senior School students taking on the role of live audience judges throughout the event.

From strong arguments to confident public speaking and quick thinking under pressure, it was fantastic to see our students so actively engaged in meaningful discussions and critical thinking ✨

157 medals, multiple top placements, and an incredible showing from our AISM Scholaroos at the World Scholar’s Cup Regional Round 2026🏅

Competing across debating, collaborative writing, the Scholar’s Bowl, and the Scholar’s Challenge, our students demonstrated outstanding teamwork, confidence, and academic excellence throughout the competition in Penang.

A heartfelt assembly led by our Foundation learners 💚

Through thoughtful reflections on Equity vs Equality, special interviews with our Year 12 students, and a touching “time machine” segment imagining their future selves, our students delivered a meaningful assembly filled with confidence, empathy, and heart ✨

At AISM, student leadership is woven into everyday school life, with students regularly leading assemblies, sharing ideas, and inspiring their peers. Seeing our Foundation learners step up so confidently was a wonderful reminder that leadership can begin at any age ✨
