Majlis Sambutan Hari Raya Aidilfitri Jabatan Anatomi Manusia (JAM) & Mega Raya UPM 2025
Majlis Sambutan Hari Raya Aidilfitri JAM 2025 telah disambut dengan penuh kemeriahan dan suasana kekeluargaan pada 24 April 2025.
Majlis ini bukan sekadar untuk meraikan Syawal tetapi warga JAM turut berkesempatan meraikan ulangtahun kelahiran Ketua Jabatan Anatomi Manusia, Prof. Dr. Cheah Pike See.
Majlis ini secara tidak langsung dapat mengeratkan silaturahim antara warga kerja JAM dan rakan-rakan FPSK yang banyak membantu warga JAM.
Pelbagai juadah enak disajikan dan kenangan indah dicipta bersama.
Terima kasih kepada semua tetamu yang hadir untuk memeriahkan majlis ini. Semoga ukhuwah yang terjalin berkekalan dan kita berjumpa lagi di sambutan Hari Raya Aidilfitri pada tahun 2026.

WALKTHROUGH SURVEY AND INSPECTION BY OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH DOCTORS AT ANATOMY DISSECTION HALL
15 Feb 2024 โ Walkthrough Survey by Occupational Health Doctors, Prof. Madya Dr. Anita binti Abd Rahman from the Department of Community Health/Hospital Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah and Dr. Muhammad Zaid bin Abu Bakar from Hospital Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah UPM at the Anatomy Dissection Hall, Department of Human Anatomy, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences UPM was conducted as part of workplace assessment and inspection. The walkthrough survey was also attended by Dr. Razif bin Abas @ Buang, clinical attachment at Occupational Medicine Clinic, Public Health Unit UPM and the briefing regarding the anatomy dissection hallโs flow and process was given by Madam Siti Nur Aishah binti Ramlee.
The assessment was conducted as there is continuous exposure to formaldehyde. All affected staff will be under OHD follow-up and medical surveillance at the Occupational Medicine Clinic, Hospital Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah UPM. This is part of the requirement from the Department of Occupational Safety and Health Malaysia as per the Occupational Safety and Health (Amendment) Act 2022 and Guidelines on Medical Surveillance Program at The Workplace 2023.

The workshop aims to cover five IMPORTANT TOPICS:
1. Tips & Tricks and hands-on techniques on blood and organ collection and storage.
2. Pipette care & maintenance, calibration and verification.
3. Principle of ELISA: traditional vs recent methods.
4. Hands-on ELISA technique and its tips & tricks.
5. The analysis of ELISA results.
Five experienced researchers and speakers from the Department of Human Anatomy, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences UPM, IKA Works (Asia) Sdn. Bhd. and Genomax Technologies Malaysia will share their valuable inputs during the workshop:

This workshop is an excellent platform for all national and international participants especially undergraduate and postgraduate students, academia, and researchers as well as technologists to learn about the theories and principles of good pipetting technique. Participants will also be exposed to calibration and verification of the pipette, blood and organ collection methods and the latest ELISA technology. The face-to-face participants will get hands-on experience handling animals for blood and organ collection, pipette and ELISA techniques.
