CFP Programme October 2025 Intake Officially Starts
SERDANG, 25 October - The Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Certification Programme October 2025 intake officially commenced today via online learning, with eight participants enrolled in Module 1 (Foundation in Financial Planning & Behavioural Psychology of Financial Decisions) and Module 2 (Insurance & Estate Planning). Classes will be held every weekend from October until the second week of December 2025.
MyAgeing® began offering the CFP Programme in 2021 through a collaboration with the Financial Planning Association of Malaysia (FPAM) to expand access to globally recognised financial planning education and professional certification. The programme aims to produce Certified Financial Planners equipped to deliver quality financial education to the public and promote informed financial decision-making.
This initiative aligns with MyAgeing®’s mission to enhance financial literacy, retirement preparedness, and long-term economic security, particularly as Malaysia approaches aged nation status by 2030. Financial planning plays a vital role in addressing key life challenges such as retirement income management, long-term healthcare financing, asset protection, estate planning, and protection against financial scams targeting older adults.
Through this programme, participants gain not only professional competencies but also ethical advisory awareness and financial resilience strategies relevant to individuals, families, and ageing communities. The CFP Programme continues to contribute to national efforts that promote active, productive, and financially independent ageing.
Registration for the March 2026 intake will open soon.
